Xanadú Mansion, built in 1930, declared one of the Seventh Wonders of Arquitectural Works in Matanzas in 2002 and National Monument of First Conservation Degree in 2013, offers the services of accommodation, bar and catering specialized in national and international food. In addition to the exquisite food, you can appreciate one of the best views of the beach and the golf course of the tourist destination. It has 6 double rooms and 2 single rooms, carefully decorated in the style of the 30s, conveniently located on the second floor, most with balconies and terraces overlooking the sea. On the third floor there is a panoramic bar with a beautiful and contrasting view of the sea and the Golf Course.
It is the Club House of the only 18-hole golf course in Cuba. It was named after Mr. Dupont in honor of the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who wrote a poem with this name inspired by the legendary warrior Kublai Khan (1216-1294), grandson of Guenghis Khan, leader of the Kingdom of the Tartars that extended throughout Central and Western Asia and part of Russia, describing the lavish, lonely and luxurious residence, also called The Pleasure Palace.
